Overview
The Challenge
Green Leprechaun Plumbing serves the San Diego area with licensed, insured plumbing around the clock — but their brand had something most plumbing companies don’t: a name with personality. The challenge was building a website that honored that identity while competing seriously for emergency and long-term service customers in a crowded market. The site needed to work at 2 AM when someone’s basement is flooding just as well as it works on a Tuesday afternoon when someone’s planning a water heater replacement.
Design & Brand Direction
We threw out the standard blue-red-white trade color scheme entirely. Green Leprechaun’s palette — deep forest green, golden yellow, and warm cream — is immediately distinctive in search results and reinforces the brand name in a way that actually sticks. A bold “Emergency? Call Now” floating button in burnt orange stays persistent throughout the entire scroll experience, because when it’s an emergency, every extra click is a lost lead. The hero opens with what every plumbing customer needs to hear first: “Expert Plumbing. Done Right. Every Time.” — followed immediately by dual CTAs and key licensing credentials (C-36 Licensed Master Plumbers). A trust statistics bar leads with upfront pricing and master-level technicians, explicitly differentiating from companies who send apprentices. An interactive service grid covers Emergency Plumbing, Drain Cleaning, Water Heaters, Leak Detection, Sewer Line, and Repiping — with 1,200+ 5-star reviews anchoring the social proof section.
Emergency UX & Lead Generation
The entire site architecture was built around the emergency call — the phone number is always visible, the floating CTA never disappears, and the service grid makes it fast for a stressed homeowner to confirm “yes, they do what I need.” For scheduled work, a lead capture form and clear service area coverage (all of San Diego County) remove every possible barrier between a potential customer and a booked appointment.
